HOW DOES THE POP SYSTEM WORK? HOW TO ORGANISE THE GAME OR SALES PROMOTION?


TRIGGERING THE POP SYSTEM

To play or start the POP system, the client is invited to trigger the system.

Depending on the publicity used to promote the operation and the system you have chosen,
Arsenal proposes a choice of triggers :



> A GAMECARD, VOUCHER OR TOKEN DETECTOR

Customers are invited to insert their game card into the slot on the POP system.

Customers received their game card either through a street marketing campaign or at the store entrance, at the checkout, or the card may also be stuck onto a flyer.

A voucher Coupon détachable

Customers are invited to insert their voucher into the slot on POP system.

The customer received a leaflet, mailshot, email, with a detachable voucher.

A token
Jeton

Customers are invited to insert their token into the slot on the POP system.

Customers received a token at the checkout (by buying partner products or by spending a certain amount in store), via a leaflet or a street marketing hostess.

> The keyboard

ClavierThe customer is invited to type in their magic code on the POP system keyboard.

The customer received the code through a direct marketing operation (mailshot, email)
or it might be printed on a flyer for example.

It might also be printed directly on the product packaging.



> THE ONE ARMED BANDIT

Bandit manchot Some POP systems are equipped with a real one armed bandit. Ideal for recreating original sales promotions, just like being at the casino!

The game is simply triggered when the customer pulls the lever.

> THE MAGNETIC STRIP READER

Piste magnétique The POP system may also be triggered by a loyalty card with a magnetic strip read by the card reader.



> The bumper

Bumper POP systems with bumpers (one or several push
buttons) are often used in operations
with a hostess.
The hostess directly invites the customer to push
a button.

> The Touch Screen

Ecran tactile The customer touches the screen
directly (button or tactile)
to trigger the game or display.
Only on POP systems equipped with
a touch screen.




Suspense

Please note: the mechanism described above is a standard game mechanism.
It is possible to entirely customise all or part of the display according to your needs, with or without game, quiz, film, demonstration, collection of customer details... Contact us.


When the game is triggered, a ‘suspense’ phase begins :


  • A visual display (varies according to the POP system) : flashing LED lights, spots or light boxes, moving message in the digital display, your own images on the screen...
  • Sound animation (jingles, sound messages, music…customised for each client, with the possibility of incorporating your own audio).
    All of the POP systems are equipped with a HQS (High Quality Sound) speaker.
    On each POP system there is a potentiometer which enables you to adjust the volume.


GAME RESULTS

The result of the game is announced by :


  • A visual display (varies according to the POP system) : flashing LED lights, spots or light boxes, moving message in the digital display, your images on the screen...
  • Sound animation (jingles, sound messages, music…customised for each client, with the possibility of incorporating your own audio).

Depending on the mechanism, a ticket is printed out , as proof of the win.
This ticket is completely customisable (the client supplies us with the texts required
to appear, logos, or perhaps barcodes).
